The 12th edition of the 100% Hotel Design Awards once again confirmed the Competition’s role as a benchmark institution for Greek hotel architecture. With 46 short-listed entries (a record number), the Awards Ceremony showcased a wide range of projects representing the latest trends in the hospitality experience: from high-end resorts to city boutique concepts, along with special categories highlighting specific aspects of design.
The 100% Hotel Show has established itself as the leading platform for presenting and promoting developments in hotel design, placing strategic emphasis on architectural quality and the aesthetic upgrade of hospitality spaces. Within this framework, the 100% Hotel Design Awards are an integral part of the event, acting as a benchmark institution that highlights the most complete, innovative, and influential architectural approaches in contemporary hospitality. Through a process that brings together major architectural firms and projects from across Greece each year, the competition reaffirms the pivotal role of design in shaping the hotel experience.

The record number of entries and the presence of all finalists at the Awards Ceremony demonstrate that the institution is maturing and evolving dynamically, bringing together a broad audience spanning the entire sector — from architectural design to hospitality development.
This year’s Awards Ceremony was held at the new Event Stage at the entrance of the exhibition, a space specifically designed for high-demand presentations, offering the right atmosphere to showcase the architectural proposals.
Sponsor of the 100% Hotel Design Awards 2025 was Vagenas Dressing Interiors, a company that has been providing comprehensive and specialized solutions for professional and public spaces from the 1960s to today.
The Ceremony was hosted by Evangelia Papadimitriou, Architect Engineer, Interior Designer, and Founder of the architectural studio HOSTCOMPASS, who contributed to the event’s success by giving the ceremony rhythm and cohesion and highlighting the importance of design in today’s hospitality experience.
At the center of this year’s event, as always, was the top distinction, “100% Hotel Architect of the Year,” awarded to the architectural firm Block 722, internationally renowned for its balanced blend of earthy materials, clean lines, and seamless integration with local context — an identity that has strongly influenced contemporary Greek hospitality design. The award was received by Mr. Sotiris Tsergas, co-founder of Block 722.

Before the main part of the Event — the Awards Presentation to the Winners of each category — the 46 finalists of the competition were showcased to the audience. As highlighted at the beginning of the Ceremony, the Organizing Committee considers all finalists winners by definition, something it demonstrated through the impressive display of all Entries in a specially designed area of the Exhibition. This was followed by the Awards Presentation, covering 5 Main and 10 Special categories.
