The Mitsis N’U Piraeus Port hotel, part of the Mitsis Group, is a reconstruction of the former Metaxa distillery building located at the port of Piraeus and features 101 rooms.
The design of the new shell aims to aesthetically and functionally upgrade the existing building. The triangular protrusions on the front façade, facing Aristeidou Street, were inspired by the desire to offer the best possible sea and port views from the rooms.
A key element in the design of the interior spaces was the study of the spatial organization of the old Metaxa distillery. On the ground floor, the reception area, the restaurant, and the necessary auxiliary spaces for the hotel's operation are located.
The color palette is inspired by the sea, the light, and the amber tones of Metaxa. Works by contemporary Greek artists enrich the interiors, offering a unique experience that blends history, art, and hospitality.
