Electra Rhythm Athens is the new identity of the historic Electra Hotel Athens, located at 5 Ermou Street in the heart of Athens. The concept of rhythm formed the core of the design strategy applied throughout the project.
The hotel comprises 101 rooms, all of which were entirely redesigned based on four distinct typologies that differ in terms of size and accommodation requirements. Three public spaces with their own distinct character, add to its urban presence: Rebels Brew, a curated coffee shop & bar; the Collaborative Studios, for meetings and co-working; and Focal, a rooftop bar-restaurant.
The material palette is dominated by wood and marble—elements commonly found in the urban fabric of Athens. The use of curves defines ceilings, light fixtures, and selected architectural details.
