This boutique hotel is located on a sloping plot in Laconic Mani, designed with respect for both Maniot architecture and modern hospitality. The composition includes two main buildings: the first welcomes guests and houses the public areas, while the second houses the rooms, following the natural terrain and the view towards the sea.
Maintaining a common design logic and identity, a variety of spatial experiences were created throughout the accommodation, despite its small size. The outdoor core between the two volumes, with a swimming pool, lounge, café-bar, and restaurant, was carefully designed to be a central gathering and meeting point, with introverted tendencies that ensure privacy.
The materiality, drawn from local elements, and the passive sustainability strategies incorporated into the design offer a unique balance of tradition, landscape, and contemporary experience.
