Tella Thera is a biophilic wellness retreat nestled in an ancient olive grove in Kissamos, Crete. Designed by Pieris.Architects, the resort merges sculptural architecture with environmental consciousness, embodying the philosophy of “Future Primitivism”—a design approach that fuses ancestral wisdom with contemporary technology to create spaces that feel both timeless and forward-looking. Its 21 suites blend into the sloped terrain, using local materials, passive cooling, and green roofs to enhance biodiversity and comfort. Powered by renewable energy, Tella Thera redefines luxury as conscious living, fostering mindfulness, well-being, and a deep connection to nature through art, architecture, and intentional design.
