Housekeeping is one of the hotel's departments that decisively affect the visitor's experience and, evidently, the reviews. 100% Hotel Show invites the Executive Housekeeper, Ms. Olga Argyrou, who will reveal the key points for the Housekeeping's upgrade and organization, through an advanced workshop.

The Staff and its image

What is the best way to organize your Housekeeping staff for achieving the optimum results? What should you pay attention to mostly, regarding your staff's image and communication skills, keeping in mind that these are the people with the biggest contact with your guests?

TOPIC 2

Basic principles for Housekeeping floor organization

Tips for the most effective and cost-efficient housekeeping operation, from the work lists to linen storage and maid trolley. Also, the transformation of Housekeeping into a Guest pampering and caring department.

TOPIC 3

Special Housekeeping Challenges

Specific guidelines for special cases such as cleaning of demanding areas (like rooms with jacuzzi) or even specialized properties, such as ECO or pet-friendly hotels.

Ms. Olga Argyrou started her career as a full-time Hospitality Lecturer in Anavissos Hospitality School. After three years of employment, she then proceeded to become the captain of a famous hotel in the heart of Athens, which was followed by the jobs that would give her the ultimate knowledge and expertise on the Housekeeping Department.

For two years, she was a floor supervisor in Hilton of Athens, and for a couple more she was working as a cleaning operations manager in Klueh Human Resources Hellas. Her first direct contact with Housekeeping took place when she became Assistant Housekeeper in Hilton Athens, which lasted for four years and 10 months.

Her next two jobs further enhanced her expertise on the Housekeeping Department, since she was working as the Head Housekeeper in two very popular hotels in Athens. The latest years she has worked in Nikki Beach as a House Quality Manager, while her current job is as a Complex Executive Housekeeper in Astir Palace Vouliagmenis.
