THE FOODHALL [FORMERLY PITSOS]
The ambitious investment program of the Sklavenitis group focuses on the creation of the largest gastronomic, entertainment and cultural complex in Greece. The FoodHall in Rentis, which will be hosted in the premises of the former Pitsos factory, is a landmark project with a budget of over 150 million euros.
The FoodHall exhibition areas will cover 50,000 sq m. and will include The Food Market, a 16,000 sq m. hypermarket that will be the commercial heart of the complex, combining the wide range of products with a Small Producers Market to promote local production. The Food Court, a dining area with 25 restaurants and cafes, will offer rich gastronomic options for every taste.
The multi-storey building will house three restaurants, conference rooms and a playground, catering to both professional and family needs. The cultural events area will extend over 3,000 sq m and will host events, exhibitions and cultural activities, while a 1,000 sq m training room will be dedicated to educational programs and activities.
Facilities aimed at children include an outdoor playground, as well as indoor play areas.
For the convenience of visitors, a parking lot with 1,400 parking spaces and open seating areas is provided.
The FoodHall, located at the intersection of Petrou Rallis and Kifissos Avenues, is expected to attract over 20,000 Greek and foreign visitors daily and will create over 1,200 new jobs, radically upgrading the wider area.
