Our unique MA Luxury Management & Guest Experience is a postgraduate tourism and hospitality programme, aimed at immersing students in the field of luxury hospitality management, offering knowledge and skills from the practices of top industry brands, while also cultivating an overall tourism awareness and culture of hospitality, that uniquely enhances the customer experience. With Greece now ranking as 3rd in Europe for luxury tourism and with an increasing number of visitors seeking exclusive experiences and personalised services, addressing tourists with high spending capacity is part of our country’s strategy. Experiential Tourism has become the dominant promotional model for our country and is internationally recognised as the leading trend, redefining the concept of luxury and its dynamics, which also finds applications in other sectors such as Fashion and Design.

The MA Leading Tourism & Hospitality: Luxury Management & Guest Experience has been developed in collaboration with the University of Derby, a TOP3 UK University for Hospitality, Tourism and Events studies (Guardian University Guide 2023) and with the contribution of leading professionals – members of the School of Tourism & Hospitality’s Advisory Board at the College. It allows students to delve into all aspects of tourism and hospitality management, enabling them to focus on the areas they prefer to specialise in and apply their knowledge in the real world.

What you will learn

The common ground of the course across all pathways is for participants to learn the science of luxurious hospitality and the art of creating unique experiences for guests, adopting the standards of excellence in terms of service quality and operation, which are in place at the leading hospitality and events businesses worldwide. At the same time, students will develop crucial knowledge and skills in management, strategic administration, and sustainable development, in the contemporary business environment, to advance their careers in a particularly competitive and rewarding industry. The programme is conducted in collaboration with leading Greek and international 5-star hotel chains and offers participants the opportunity to undertake projects and paid positions of responsibility, guided by renowned professionals in the hotel industry.
