Located at 88 Vouliagmenis Avenue in Athens, Darya-J Hotel is a contemporary hospitality destination where the principles of Japanese aesthetics are translated into a refined architectural experience.
Rooted in simplicity, spatial clarity and the authenticity of natural materials, the project creates a calm and immersive environment within the dense urban fabric of the city. The public areas are conceived as a continuous spatial sequence, connecting the lobby, bar, breakfast lounge and landscaped courtyard with its swimming pool, while the five upper floors accommodate 34 guest rooms, including four suites.
Inspired by traditional Japanese *shoji* screens, the perforated metal façade acts as a filter of light and privacy, giving the building a dynamic identity that changes throughout the day. Darya-J Hotel offers a hospitality experience where architecture, materiality and atmosphere are carefully balanced, introducing a contemporary interpretation of Japanese design in the heart of Athens.
